Coating mat 2-componenten
Product: Coating mat 2-componenten is a water-based transparent matt lacquer consisting of a base lacquer and a hardener based on an aliphatic isocyanate.
Specific use: Coating mat 2-componenten is used as a protective water-resistant coating on flat smooth surfaces of stucco, wood and plastic.
Characteristics: Coating mat 2- componenten is water-based, has a lasting matte appearance and excellent adhesion on smooth plastered surfaces such as Colorstuc, an excellent adhesion to plastic/wood and mineral surfaces.
- Is dust-dry after ± 2 hours.
- Recoatable after 4 to 6 hours.
- Fully cured after 7 days.
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) 142 gr/litres.
Method of application:
Add the curing agent to the base resin and mix for 3 minutes, then add 20% of water (100ml) and mix the whole again for 1 minute.
Processing time at 20°C ± 2 hours
Apply the coating with a lacquer roller with a short coat (max. 4mm).
Process within 2 hours.
Apply the coating as thin as possible and properly distribute evenly over the surface.
If multiple layers are desired, a second layer of coating can be applied after 6 hours of drying.
Processing temperature:
Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 10°C.
The drying time is dependent on temperature.
Surface:
The surface should be dry and free from:
Dust, oil, grease and loose dirt
Consumption: ± 10 m2 per 0.5 litre.
Packing/Contents: In buckets of 0.5 litre.
Base resin 0.5 litre bucket ( =450 gram) - curing agent 50 ml ( = 50 gram)
Storage: Protect against heat and frost.
Remark: Clean tools with water.
