Product
Spaansealer is a water-based solvent-free and transparent coating on the basis of acrylic resin and special aggregates.
Specific use
Spaansealer is used as a light-filling transparent pre-spread coating for two-component coatings on finishes of cement-containing products that have a plastered finish.
Characteristics
Spaansealer is delivered ready for use.
Spaansealer is transparent and solvent-free.
By using Spaansealer, the surfaces of plastered cementitious products are sealed, so that two-component coatings can be applied better and more easily.
With Spaansealer as an intermediate layer, irregularities such as small holes (pin holes) in the two-component coating can be prevented.
Method of application
Spaansealer is applied evenly in a thin layer with a polishing trowel or a rubber squeegee or similar tool.
Spaansealer is applied undiluted and as thin as possible.
Applying multiple layers of Spaansealer is possible.
Processing temperature: Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 10°C.
The drying time is dependent on temperature and degree of humidity.
Surface
The base must be free from debris, dry, clean and grease-free.
Consumption
Dependent on the surface up to ± 0.1/ 0.15 kg per m2 per layer.
Determine the exact use by means of a test surface.
Packing/Contents: In plastic buckets of 1 and 5 kg.
Storage
Protect against heat and frost.
Remark
Clean tools with water.
