Product: Diepgrond Oplosmiddel Vrij (OV:(solvent-free) is a lightly pigmented water-based first layer on the basis of acrylics.
Specific use: Diepgrond ov is used to strengthen and fix powdery surfaces so that further finishing layers can be applied without any trouble.
Characteristics: Diepgrond ov has a high penetrating capacity in powdery mineral bases so that the powdery layer is strengthened and fixed. Diepgrond ov is water-based entirely without solvents and almost odourless. The product has a very high resistance against saponification, is permeable and provides a good base for further finishing layers.
Method of application: Diepgrond ov is delivered ready for use and processed undiluted. Use a brush to obtain the best result. The maximum strengthening process can only be obtained when the base is fully saturated. In certain cases it is necessary to process Diepgrond ov in multiple layers wet in wet.
Drying time: Dependent on temperature and humidity. At room temperature 8 hours.
Surface: The surface must be free from grease, dry and absorbing. For the best result, the powdery coats of paint must be cleaned as best as possible before applying Diepgrond ov.
Consumption: Dependent on the porosity of the base 150 to 200 grams per m2 per layer. Determine correct use by means of test applications.
Packing/Contents: In buckets of 2 and 5 litres.
Storage: Protect against heat. Can be preserved unlimited.
