DIGO RENOVATIEVOORSTRIJK (Fine)
Product: Renovatievoorstrijk is a ready for use first layer, composed of alkali-resistant, plasticizer-free and non-saponifiable acrylics, various aggregates and pigments, fine fillers.
Specific use: Renovatievoorstrijk is a special first layer for masonry paint and is used where discolouration to brown can not be prevented from the base in the finishing layers of masonry paints.
Characteristics: Renovatievoorstrijk binds discolouring substances of nicotine through smoke deposit, old plaster layers and board materials (fibreboards) and, as result, prevents discolourations of the masonry paint. Provides an excellent adherence with further finishing layers, is breathing and waterproof.
Processing temperature: Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 5°C.
Method of application: Renovatievoorstrijk is applied undiluted in one layer with brush or roller. Drying time at least 8 hours.
Consumption: Dependent on the base ± 4 m2/kg.
Packing/Contents: In plastic buckets of 2, 5 and 10 kg.
Surface: The surface must be dry and free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint (wipe-resistant, whitewash coats). Powdery surfaces must be pre-treated with Undercoating solvent-free. See separate product information sheet.
Storage: Protect against heat and frost.
Remark: Renovatievoorstrijk can discolour because of reaction with the polluted bases. This has no influence on the process and final result.
