Product:Silicaat grondeer is a special first layer on the basis of an acrylate dispersion and potassium water glass, auxiliary substances and additives
Specific use: Silicaat grondeer is a basis for Silicaatverf. Is applied as a first layer for Silicaatverf in order to eliminate the too strong and irregular absorption of the base and to form a good adhesive bridge with Silicaatverf. Clean and pre-treat old stable fixed coats of paint with Silicaat grondeer.

Processing temperature: Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 5°C. Drying time approximately 24 hours.

As a first layer for dark colours, the Silicaat grondeer can also be applied in a ratio of 1 part water, 1 part Silicaat grondeer and 1 part Silicaatverf .
A drying period of ± 24 hours must be maintained before the first layer of Silicaatverf is applied.
Surface: The base must be stable and sustainable. The surface must be dry and free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint (wipe-resistant, whitewash coats). Thoroughly remove old powdery, loose, dusty coats of paint.
Consumption: Dependent on the base: ± 0.2 litre/m²
Packing/Contents: In plastic buckets of 2, 5 and 10 kg.
Storage: Store frost-free.
