DIGO RENOVATIEVOORSTRIJK (COARSE)
Product: Renovatievoorstrijk is a ready for use first layer, composed of alkali-resistant, plasticizer-free and non-saponifiable acrylics, various aggregates and pigments, fine and coarse fillers.
Specific use: Renovatievoorstrijk is used as a first layer for decorative plasters where another water-based first layer can not prevent the discolouration to brown from the base in the finishing layers and decorative plasters. For example, as in various types of bases in renovation.
Characteristics: Renovatievoorstrijk binds discolouring substances of nicotine through smoke deposit, old plaster layers and board materials (fibreboards) and, as result, prevents discolourations in the finishing layer. Provides an excellent adherence with further finishing layers, is breathing and waterproof.
Processing temperature: Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 5°C.
Processing: Renovatievoorstrijk is applied undiluted in one layer with brush or roller. Drying time at least 8 hours.
Consumption: Dependent on the base 2 to 3 m2/kg.
Packing/Contents: In plastic buckets of 3, 7 and 15 kg.
Surface: The surface must be dry and free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint (wipe-resistant, whitewash coats). Powdery surfaces must be pre-treated with Diepgrondering ov (see product information sheet).
Storage: Protect against heat and frost.
Remark: Renovatievoorstrijk can discolour because of reaction with the polluted bases. This has no influence on the process and final result.
