Plastificeerder

DIGO PLASTIFICEERDER

Product: Plastificeerder is a water-based dispersion free from plasticizers and solvents.

Specific use: Plastificeerder is excellently suitable for preventing dirt sweating of walls and ceilings. It is successfully applied on old kitchen walls, nicotine, soot and leakage spots. It is also excellently suitable as a flexible moisture barrier against penetrating moisture, e.g. cellars and interior walls. It can be applied on concrete, chipboard, gypsum board and fixed layers of paint.

Characteristics: Plastificeerder gives a very elastic layer impermeable to moisture and dirt. This layer isolates completely and is no longer breathing. It can be painted over excellently.

Processing temperature: Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 5°C.

Method of application: Plastificeerder is applied with a brush. Apply crosswise. Depending on the filthiness, 2 layers will be sufficient on dirt sweating surfaces. Drying time between the layers at least 5 hours. Damp walls require 2 to 3 layers applied "wet in wet". Possible following applications (e.g. decorative plasters) require at least 24 hours after last layer of Plastificeerder.

Consumption: Depending on the application of 2½ to 5 m2 per kg.

Packing/Contents: In plastic buckets of 1, 3 and 5 kg.

Surface:  The surface must be free from dirt, grease, fungi and powdery coats of paint. Surfaces to be treated may be damp.

Storage: Protect against heat and frost.

Remark: Layers applied on alkaline surfaces may turn brown. This colouring has no influence on the function of the product. When an decorative plaster or stucco layer is used as finishing, treat the Plastificeerder with Ruwer. Masonry paints can be applied directly.
