Product
Gips-Kontakt is a ready-to-use solvent-free primer, consisting of alkali-resistant synthetic resin dispersions, fine fillers.
Specific use
Gips-Kontakt primer Forms an optimal bonding bridge between gypsum plasters and weak and nonabsorbent surfaces such as plasterboard panels, smooth concrete, and sand-lime brick.
Properties
Water-based, solvent-free, fast drying, good adhesion to smooth surfaces, improves the adhesion of gypsum plasters.
Processing temperature
During processing and drying, the substrate and ambient temperature must not be below + 5°C.
Drying time approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on the conditions.
Method of application
Gips-Kontakt is applied evenly and undiluted,
Apply with a fleece roller or block brush or spray equipment.
Stir before use
Consumption
150 grammes per m2 . ± 86 m² per bucket 13 kg
Packing/Contents
In plastic buckets of 13 kg.
Surface
The surface must be free of dust and powdery layers (smudge-resistant, whitewash layers), grease-free, dry and solid.
Storage
Store frost-free.
Remark
Stir Gips-Kontakt before use.
Do not dilute Gips-Kontakt with water or mix it with other products.
Clean tools with water.
The plaster layer must be completely dry before further finishing.
