UNI MORTEL V (accelerated)
Product: UNI Mortel V is a powdery, fine granular material that consists of mineral fillers, hydraulic binders, high-quality synthetic resins and special aggregates for faster curing time and processing.
Specific use: UNI Mortel V is used for thin layer plastering of inner and outer walls especially where rapid processing is required. UNI Mortel V is also made for replastering of, for example, painted or with decorative plaster treated outer walls. It also provides a solid base for various finishing layers.
Characteristics: UNI Mortel V is waterproof, weather-resistant, shock-resistant, has a good adherence and is easy and fast to apply. UNI Mortel V can be finished after ± 1 hour. The finishing time can vary depending on the temperature and has at a low temperature, a longer processing time than at high temperatures.
Processing temperature: Do not use UNI Mortel V when the outside temperature and/or the temperature of the base can drop below + 5°C during drying.
Method of application: UNI Mortel V is prepared with + 5 litres of water per sack of 25 kg. The material is prepared lump-free with a rapid mixer. UNI Mortel V is applied in layer thickness up to 3 mm as evenly and tightly as possible. After initial drying, moisten with water, scour, and scrap the small bumps evenly with a spack knife. After that, scour or plaster. It is recommended to plaster a reinforcing tissue in the mortar in bases where there is a possibility of cracking. If several layers are applied, the first layer must be applied somewhat coarse and must be dry before applying the second layer.
Consumption: + 1.3 kg per m2 per mm layer thickness.
Packing/Contents: In sacks of 25 kg.
Surface: The surface must be free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint and dry. Pre-treat highly-absorbing surfaces with priming Binding agent. Pre-treat smooth surfaces with Stuc-contact.
Storage: Store dry and free from moisture.
Remark: Protect the façades against weather influences, such as sun, wind and rain, during processing.
