DIGO C.B. MORTEL
Product: C.B. Mortel is a powdery product. It consists of fine and coarse mineral components, hydraulic binders and aggregates.
Specific use: C.B. Mortel is used for the rendering of masonry and rough stony surfaces for outdoor and indoor uses.
Characteristics: C.B. Mortel is weather-resistant, shock-resistant, has a very good adherence and is permeable. Is easy to apply both by hand and by machine.
C.B. Mortel can be finished with various products after drying.
Pressure strength 25.2 N/mm², bending strength 5.9 N/mm²
Lowest processing temp.: Do not use C.B. Mortel when the outside temperature and/or the temperature of the material can drop below 5°C during drying.
Method of application: C.B. Mortel is prepared with 4.5 litres of water per 25 kg. Apply the mortar with a trowel or worm gear pump in layer thickness of 5 to 15 mm. Level by means of a jointing rule and after sufficient drying, sandpaper evenly with a sanding block. A reinforcing web can possibly be embedded in the wet mortar layer. The finishing layer can be applied after a drying time of ± 12 hours per mm layer thickness.
Consumption: 1.6 kg per m2 per mm layer thickness.
Packing/Contents: In sacks of 25 kg.
Surface: The surface must be free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint and dry. Pre-treat with Stuc-Contact. Pre-treat rough surfaces with Voorstrijk Bindmiddel or Stuc-voorstrijk in order to eliminate strong absorption.
Storage: Store dry and free from moisture.
Remark: In the case of strong wind and bright sunlight, precautions against fast drying must be taken.
