DIGO SPACHTELPUTZ
Product: Spachtelputz is a decorative plaster for indoor and outdoor use having a very beautiful structure, without mineral binders. It consists of an alkali-resistant, plasticizer-free, synthetic resin dispersion, fine and coarse fillers and pigments.
Specific use: Spachtelputz is suitable for any sound surface on indoor and outdoor walls and ceilings including cement, concrete, chipboard, gypsum board and fixed layers of paint.
Characteristics:Weather and water-resistant, optimally breathing, shock-resistant, elastic, has good adhesion and is easy to apply.

Colour: Available according to an elaborate colour spectrum. Various lots can show small differences in colour. In order to prevent colour differences, it is advised to order the total quantity required for a project. Always mix different lots with each other.
Processing temperature: Do not use at a surface and ambient temperature below + 5o C.
Method of application: Spachtelputz is applied with a stainless steel trowel or spraying equipment (e.g. funnel pistol). When using a trowel, Spachtelputz must be applied at grain thickness. After that, abrade trowel marks with a plastic trowel. When using spraying equipment, spray until an even structure is obtained.
Consumption:
Spachtelputz extra fine : ± 2.1 kg per m2
Spachtelputz fine: ± 2.4 kg per m2
Spachtelputz middle: ± 3.4 kg per m2
Spachtelputz coarse: ± 4.3 kg per m²
Packing/Contents: In plastic buckets of 8 and 17 kg.
Surface: The surface must be dry and free from dust, grease and powdery coats of paint (wipe-resistant, whitewash coats). Powdery surfaces must be pre-treated with Diepgrondering ov. See separate product information sheet. Always pre-treat the surface in colour with Ruwer. See separate product information sheet. Surfaces that can cause discolouration, pre-treat with Renovatie voorstrijk. See separate product information sheet.
Storage: Protect against heat and frost.
Remark: It can be cleaned with all kinds of cleaners except solvents. Spachtelputz can be repainted. Digo decorative plasters must always be applied with stainless steel tools.In the case of strong wind and bright sunlight, precautions against fast drying must be taken.
